Record near-HD resolution video on your iPhone 3Gs

If you’re an iPhone 3Gs owner who’s been experiencing iPhone-4-HD-Envy, gather ’round, and prepare to be blown away. A self-labeled “CG Generalist/Photographer” by the name of Mike Pan has devised a way to shoot near-HD quality video on his jailbroken iPhone 3Gs! No Joke! …at least, I HOPE it’s not a joke.  By making a few small changes in a plist (preference) file, Mike was able to nearly double his iPhone camera’s resolution from 640×480 to 1080×800!  Sick!  Check out the embedded sample video below.
