After subscribing to our newsletter, our web server stores certain bits of your personal data, such as your name and email address. We also keep track of things like which newsletters you’ve read, and which you’ve ignored. We record what pages you’ve visited, and what links you’ve followed. All of this information helps us to provide the most interesting and relevant content. In order to maintain transparency and ensure compliance with international privacy restrictions, we’ve make it easy for you to manage the data we’ve stored.
If you select Request for Data, we will email you a file containing all of your personal data currently stored on our server.
If you select Request to be Forgotten, we will wipe all of your personal data from our servers. This will also unsubscribe you from all newsletters we manage (including the HHH newsletter and Taz Goldstein’s personal newsletter). If you’d rather unsubscribe from a single newsletter, without having us wipe all of your data, you can simply click the unsubscribe link found at the bottom of every newsletter we send.
It’s your data! So, what would you like to do with it?
