CES: Quikswipe lets filmmakers accept credit cards

For decades, filmmakers have been using their own credit cards to finance their projects. Isn't it time you started using other people's credit cards? Well, now you can!

MacAlly has announced the Quikswipe, a credit card reader for the iPhone and iPod Touch.

You might want to check also "Square" from the creators of Twitter. It is grabbing quite a bit of attention plus the device is supposed to be given for free:

I wonder if they'll bundle this with a merchant app, I also wonder what the merchant fees will be for such an app? I guess we'll see soon.
