1st Video updated to support HD

Looks like our friends at Palm Sounds spotted a major update that we missed!  1st Video by Vericorder has been updated to version 2.1.2735.  The big news here is that the app now supports the importing, editing, and exporting of HD video at resolutions up to 1280×720 (assuming you have an HD capable iPhone 4 or iPod Touch running iOS 4.1).  Naturally, if you’re using an older device, you’re still limited to VGA resolutions.

If you’re not already familiar with 1st Video, here’s a video tour.

In addition to HD functionality, the new update adds these features:

- Import videos in .MOV and .MP4 format using Sharing function
- Import videos and pictures from Photo Library and audio from iTunes library with iOS 4.0+
- Mix videos with different resolutions and aspect ratios
- Improved Trim tool, accurate to single Frame (1/30th sec)
- Faster background processing of new or imported videos for use in Editor

This is a FREE update for existing customers.  Hooray, free!

And if you haven’t checked out Palm Sounds, you should.  It’s free, too.  Hooray, free!
